Why are some people down on Coffee?
Some people like me love it, but I've also heard people say it's bad for you. They also have never given me any reasonable facts to back up this claim. Do any of you have real facts that say it's bad?

1. Caffeine...that's my reason
I'm not down on it, but I try to stay away from caffeinated beverages as much as possible. Why:

For some women, it makes your breasts ache (I'm totally sure you wanted to hear that). Proper term being Fybrocystic Breasts. That would be me.

Another is that when I actually HAVE coffee or any caffeinated beverage I am bouncing off the walls forever.

Caffeine is also a cause of insomnia.

Lastly, I hate the concept of relying on my "cup of Joe" every morning to get my ass moving. I prefer to get moving on my own. Being dependant on a brown, not so great tasting beverage doesn't turn my crank.

But that's just me!

3. I agree with you
on your last point. I like to wake up on my own. I find I don't need coffee (caffeine) to get going in the morning either.

2. I like coffee,
but I rarely drink it. The caffeine makes me nuts. Maybe I'd drink decaf, by we don't by it since my husband wants regular coffee and I don't drink coffee frequently enough to care.

Coffee can stain your teeth if you drink it too much and too often, but I don't really think that is a health risk.

4. Don't worry about the coffee
Recent studies actually say a few cups of coffee are now good for the
heart. Of course they could change that by next week.
I'd worry more about the "Porkrinds"......LOL
