2. Now to start a flamewar
Those who voted "oogy" are a bunch of scum-sucking, incoherent ninnyhammers.

13. That's cool
I guess you won't be taking me too seriously that way, which is my intention.

3. Sometimes it is. Sometimes it isn't.
But, for sure, sometimes I have laughed myself silly at some of the crazy posts and links in the past couple of years.

I swear, this place has saved my sanity!

:D

4. Explain "silly".
By what standard shall we judge what silly is? What's the baseline for that amount of silliness that shall be deemed as an acceptable level of silliness? After having established that benchmark, and since a constant state of silly is (for all practical purposes) impossible, we should naturally expect slight variations in the amount of silliness from moment to moment. That being the case, and allowing for fluctuations, we must now determine how much silliness above that point shall be deemed to be "too" silly?

Also, this begs the question... if we can have too much silliness, can we also have too little silliness?

10. No, no, no
A live and let live attitude is unacceptable here--hide and ignore, for example, are themselves ignored by the true DUer. They aren't tools to save the moderators' and admins' sanity, but rather "I'm a wuss" features used by weak-minded members who are unable or unwilling to try and bend the entire board's operation to their will.

:silly:

9. I love the lounge
You make me laugh when I feel like crying. The total absurdities I've seen here are a constant source of wonderment.

Thanks.

11. Can't decide between oogy or boogy
Sometimes a little of both. Sometimes not enough of either.

I'll have to get back to you on that.
