I resigned my job today
I'm leaving on the 18th, last "official" day is the 21st.
I just can't stand the job anymore. I never should have taken it on in the first place, I'm not the right person for the job, and there's a serious amout of miscommunication going on.
Good riddance.

1. I hope it was a clean break
No ill will or bad feelings or anything.

6. It's cool between me and my supervisor
She came on about a year ago too-same time I did-and she's fed up and ready to leave too. Station manager hasn't heard yet though, and he'll probably not see it coming and get frustrated. But that's half the problem right now.

2. I hope you have something else lined up.

11. Don't forget your references.
Write it up yourself, give it to your supervisor to sign. You know the job wasn't right for you, I know the job wasn't right for you, but your next prospective employer might think you quit because of some awful reason.

4. Sorry it didn't work out for you EP***
Perhaps you'd be suited for more of a cause oriented and/or political/non-profit job.

An area of interest for you to look into?

Im sure you will find something that is better suited for you.

Take care of yourself in the meantime. :)

8. I've thought about that
I've also thought about a more active role, and running for office. May try writing too-I have 100 stories in my head I've never put to paper.

15. Permanent? No
But there are things that will tide me over for a while that I am going to work towards, such as a post-doc, and substitute teaching, and adjunct faculty, etc.
