Poll question: Best SNL Weekend Update Host
Actually looking at the list "Worst" host might have been more logical choice

3. Are people not picking Miller because of what he's become?
Because for my money, he was by far the best W/U host. Which makes it all the more a shame what's become of him - spectacularly unfunny and misguided.

4. Quick question for you
I've seen that picture of Bush with the dog, but I never understood what it meant. Could you explain?

11. I used to like Dennis Miller once upon a time.
I even saw him perform at the MGM in Las Vegas ten years ago.

I can't stand the sight of him now.

However, I picked Chevy Chase for W/U because I simply liked him the best. There have been good ones since, but Chevy is it for me.

too bad he sold out.

I always thought Norm MacDonald was one of the weaker hosts. I'm surprised so many people are voting for him.

27. I have to agree. He was the best.

A shame about that whole becoming a right-wing shit-for-brains.

At least he had the good sense to completely humiliate himself on Monday Night Football before finishing his turn to the Dark Side.

10. I'll bet a lot of these choices have to do with age. Let's include ages
in our posts.

16. Reminds me
of the old saying in SF, "When was the Golden Age of Science Fiction? About 14."

Yep, I'm 44 and I voted for Chevy Chase.

13. Long ago and far away, Dennis Miller used to be hilarious.
Especially when he was anchor of WU. Granted, he was a smarmy jackass even then, but at least he was funny.

22. Chevy Chase ...... and you're not.
I honestly believe Norm McDonald is as dumb in real life as he is on TV. The poor SOB. As for Miller --- I hope that ISP he does the commercials for goes right into bankruptcy as a direct result of his advocacy.

He invented it. Gilda Radner was the best guest commentator ever also. Besides being one of the funniest women who ever lived.
