2. World News in Clayton Missouri sells a weekly
edition of the Guardian. I don't know if it's a version for the US or not. I've bought it a couple of times.

3. MMMM--if that's it, great. But I would have thought there would
have been an official launch and ads on the web and radio.

I'll have to do some checking...

About Guardian Weekly

"The Guardian Weekly offers a compact digest of four newspapers. It contains the best of the Guardian and Observer newspapers as well as reports, features and book reviews from the Washington Post and articles translated from Le Monde, France's leading daily paper.

The Guardian Weekly carries a monthly Learning English supplement that offers news and classroom aids to teachers of English as Foreign Language, as well as a guide to the best listening on the BBC World Service. Its fortnightly Outlook section focuses on international development issues and the vital part played by NGOs in the field.

The Guardian Weekly is printed in three centres - Britain, Australia and Canada - to ensure that copies reach readers as fast as possible. And for subscribers it offers an email service that delivers its editorial content before the paper has even rolled off the presses."
