Poll question: Give a man a match, or set him on fire
If you give a man a match, he'll be warm for the night. If you set a man on fire, he'll be warm for the rest of his life.

3. Must be a hell of a match to keep him warm all night.

5. DS1 very specifically said "a man."
Clearly, there was nothing about you in his premise.

10. I don't know what those words mean.
So I'll just go back to caroling. Which I wasn't doing. Fuck! I forget what I was doing now.

His agonized banshee-screaming and uncontrolled, panicy flight would be more fun to watch. Waiting for him to set himself alight would be like watching paint dry, and he might not even know that that's what he's supposed to do.

i think it would be more advantageous to burn his animals first; he can keep warm and have a decent last meal before roasting himself
