So I'm cooking dinner for 7 family-less friends tomorrow night
I'm doing two turkeys, both 3 kilos or something like 7 pounds because the dutch don't have large turkeys. Kinda looking forward to it, it should be fun with my near perfected recipe and all the booze. I'm just worried that one my my buddies will think it's funny to fuck with The Chef when he's right in the middle of things. I'll do my best not to stab him. I love cooking, but STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY while I'm doing it. The perfectionist in me wants everything to be absolutely perfect so I tend to become a bit of a stressed out monster. Anyone else tense about cooking over the next two days? :D

and then I killed some guy in a speedo in a hot tub. Wait I am not Agent 47 am I?

3. Careful, else he'll chop you into goulash
The speedo will be the garnish. And come on, you're agent 69! Write it on your palm if you keep forgetting. :D

The Budaphest level in the first game helped inspired my fear of speedos.

13. Oh yeah, I remember that one too
I hated the swim team. The ski team was a lot more fun.

14. Ski team?
Here's in these parts of Virginia, we have no mountains. I was on the swim team before I appreciated girls, we're talking when I was like 6, I was still scared of the speedos though.

15. I quit the swim team when I was ten
I grew up in the mountains, so if you didn't ski you were a weirdo. It was tons of fun because we spent most of our time messing around. Anyhoo, hitting the sack. Got lots of cooking tomorrow. Happy holidays!

9. I enjoy myself when everything works like a swiss watch
I'm not too bad as long as people don't poke the bear. I'm fairly good tempered even while stressed. Even so, my stepfather at the time kept trying to pick at what I was cooking, and I never hesitated to whack his hand with my trusty wooden spoon. The look on his face the first time I did that was priceless. :D

I guess it's the perfectionist in me. "It's Showtime," as Peggy Hill would say. I do want it to be perfect.
On Edit-- but it will still be fun!

11. I'm cooking for 10 tomorrow
and I should get started tonight on the prep. But, no, I'm here. I will get the rolls started tonight. And maybe make one of the desserts. But the veggies and fruit salad will be last minute. I've already done two turkeys in the past two weeks for other parties. So, I'm taking it easy tomorrow night with a honeybaked ham and a smoked turkey. Still plenty to do, though. But, hey, on Christmas Day I can relax. We'll eat leftovers.

17. I used to do that and I loved it!
I stopped several years ago after my brother died so I am thinking next year it is time to get back into it. I have a 23 pound turkey thawing as we speak and I just did my stuffing, enough to feed an entire army. I hate cooking but something about this meal is very special. Have a great time. Gotta go start the pies.
