My husband is baking apricot rolls
And then he plans to make scones. I love to see a man covered in flour! Anybody else baking today?

1. Yeah ...
but not until I get out of work ... and probably not the kind of "Baking" you are talking about.

Is it 4:20 yet ?

Cheers
drifter

I'm waiting for my daughter to unload the dishwasher-then we'll start on Oatmeal Raisin chocolate Chip, Almond Rocha Bars and if I'm not too exhausted Lemon Butter Cookies.

14. Cooked dried apricots stuffed into pastry. Fry in about
2 inches vegetable oil until brown on both sides. Drain.
I cook the apricots, drain, add butter. Wait about 10 minutes, add sugar and spices. I make my own pastry and use a saucer to make the size of the pastry.

12. Baking accident last night
I dropped a spatula in the mixer while it was running. Bent the blades and now the motor won't turn. This is the one my wife gave me for xmas last year.

Gonna have to wait for post xmas sales to get a replacement.

at least no one was injured. Holiday baking crisis looms. :silly:

sorry to hear it. I always worry about the oven going at the worst possible time.
