7. me too and I keep having people ask me where the treetopper is
and I keep telling them I have them but think they look cornball and I prefer a huge bow. They don't like that answer and keep buying me these dumbass treetoppers because they think they must have infinite good taste. Now these people absolutely love my decorated tree except they can't handle the bow up there. So guess what...the bow is up there. It reminds me of people who can't look at a piece of wood furniture without lace doilies on top.

My tree is decorated, but with no special topper. Is that weird?

9. I have an angel but would prefer something else.
I just put it there because my daughter insisted we had to have something; it's a "crafty" treetopper someone made for me, but not really my style.

16. that's funny. I put angels up there for several years and people
went nuts when I went to big bows. They couldn't handle that I didn't want the angels there anymore and they still can't

...although I prefer having stars on top. Or having other non-Xmas-related objects on top that totally throw off the otherwise festive mood created by the tree. I'm weird, though, I guess...

We're not putting up our tree this year, so it will stay in our storage shed.

Nothing on the tree this year, but my usual decoration is the loeb edition, books 1-12 of the Iliad. Nice green cover is very festive.
