3. Red licorice isn't really licorice...
That anise-flavored nasty black stuff is the real licorice.

That said, I won't touch the black stuff, but I love the red stuff.

I won't eat black jelly beans either.

10. when I was a kid
I was in Pennsylvania - Amish country - and I had a HARD black licorice, so hard that you didn't bite it you kinda scraped it with your teeth, little by little. It wasn't a sucking candy either... I loved it and have never found it again. Was it just stale, or is there such a product?
