Good Democratic books?
I am looking to read some books on the Democratic point of view and that defend the Democratic point of view (I dont know if I worded this question right or not)?

I was thinking about checking out Alan Colmes book, "Red, White & Liberal : How Left Is Right & Right Is Wrong."

I want something up to date with current issues. Also, Im not a real big reader so I need something that will not put me to sleep.

1. "We're Right, They're Wrong" by James Carville
despite some corny passages about having a BBQ with RWers, it's a very succinct defense of the liberal record and position.

6. The Mass Psychology of Fascism
The Mass Psychology of Fascism <- by Wilhelm Reich.

Or if that's too heavy for your tastes...
