1. Aaaaaand NOW! Ladies and Gentlemen.................
Kornhieser and Wilbon have been playing this to death on PTI.

I can't open it up as I am at home on this crappy a** dial up computer.

Hope things went well for you down at the beach. My friends on the peninsula told us how bad it was there and it was bad here but not like OBX and the beach. My best friend lost his childhood home, it's ruined. His brother's (moved home after there father died in the spring) craftsman toolchest was half way out their ~150 driveway, 3 foot waves breaking onto their back porch, everyone is okay though.

2. Besides not having power for 48 hours
the most damage I experienced for the past 4 days has been a continuous assault on my liver. We went through SO MUCH beer...I'm now on detox mode.

How did you fare?

B

3. Nothing but block parties all around on Friday
Of course not on my weaka** block. :grr:

when the power came back on everyone ran back inside and the sense of community was gone. Yes much drinking. BTW- frozen vegetables (especially peas) are a great substitute for ice which does not exist in Richmond right now.

One of my friends called us Friday night, his wife just had their second baby about 4 months ago and he was on a search for ice. He had driven from Williamsburg all the way to Highland Springs (20 miles east of Richmond) with no positive results, I told him to turn around because there was no ice anywhere in the city.

HEY the NFL is on in 30 minutes!!! :bounce:
