My best friend and I have a Republican Satire site that is aimed at hardcore news junkies like we are:

I hope that some of you will take a look and let us know what you think. We know there are alot of democrats who are down in the dumps, and we hope we can give fellow democrats something to smile about.

Actually, quite a few.

We get neocons who email us and reply to our Kathleen Kuntly, GOP Media Diva character.

They say things like, " I really agree with you Ms. Kuntly, but I find your columns to be very vulgar and distasteful..."

We post samples from our email in our "mailbag" section of our forums so our readers can laugh with us at the crazy letters we get.

Can I offer some unsolicited layout advice? Get rid of the forced justification in those front page boxes - it's putting a lot of strain on the text and making it harder to read. Left justified text would be way more readable, and since the items are boxed off and non-columnar anyway, force-justification isn't really necessary. The writing's fabulous, though, I must say. Great work.

I will give that a try, thanks for the tip.

We put way more time into writing our columns than we do into web layout. I have learned alot since I first designed the site, and whenever I get time to redesign the homepage I will keep your suggestions in mind. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

We really listen and want to give our readers more of what they find funny.

We are going to be doing at least 2 radio interviews in connection with our site during the month of December. When I get the details nailed down I will let you know.

We do our interviews in deadpan as idiot neocon columnists from our site, the two we've done already went really well.

23. Oh my gosh how hilarious

how do you keep from busting a gut laughing? I was reading one of the Kuntly articles out loud (I have to admit, she's my fav so far, but I need to check out the others more) and there were some lines I couldn't get through without laughing.

It's sad statement on republicans nowdays if ANY of them think that site is for real. DAMN! You even have a disclaimer at the bottom!
