1. Some people suggest that teens binge-drink
in part because they are never taught how to drink socially and responsibly by older adults and in part because it's taboo for teens to drink (although they almost all do).

2. At first I thought it was a joke,
but after reading it and thinking about it, I see that it's not such a bad idea. In some European countries the kids grow up learning to drink responsibly at the dinner table. However, immature brains do not handle alcohol the same as mature brains (damage much more likely). Therefore, one must be careful giving liquour to anyone under about 18.

it is a sarcastic look at a real problem in today's and yesterday's society.

If kids are going to drink, and we know a certain percentage will, what should we do?

Well, one rule to follow may be the sex rule, we educate kids to use condoms because we know they will probably have sex at an early age, but when it comes to alcohol, we haven't been able to face it in the same light...
