To start off, I've decided not to get a new username. I thought v.2.0 would be REALLY different, enabling me the opportunity to start a new identity. But the new look is quite similar and familiar-looking. It's also because I've already got 1,400+ posts, and I decided I don't want to start over.

BTW, I like the part about showing post counts in the profiles. I just racked up 250+ posts a couple nights ago that I thought I would never see proof of ever again, but I was wrong.:-) I don't care what anyone else thought, I like the fact that for example, newyawker99 has over 42,000 posts, and others have 1,000, 5,000, etc.

And oh yeah, SIG LINES ARE BACK!!!!!!

1. 1,000+ posts is like not paying SS tax when you make over 80K

I like the change. Those high post numbers were beginning to
be a distraction, and were making posting too much of a
contest, encouraging trivial posts, like this one. 

It would have been nice to have spell-check included in the
upgrade, but gradually, over the last year or two, I've
learned to spell, so spell-check has become a moot point, or
perhaps a mute point...but then spell-check wouldn't have
picked up that 'moot-mute' mistake anyway.

It's nice to know that even though that even though people aren't commenting on your posts, it doesn't mean they aren't being read.
