Don't hold back: Tell us what you really think about GWBush, Republicans,
Edited on Sat Nov-27-04 02:10 PM by undisclosedlocation
Tom Delay, fundamentalist REPUBLICANS (yes, there is the other kind), red state REPUBLICANS (ditto), the puppetmasters (eg Murdoch, Ailes, Viguerie), Karl Rove, anybody else in the mis- mal- and non-administration, the bought and paid for media, their corporate masters (especially the oil companies who generously gave us Bush and Cheney), right-wing radio knuckle-draggers, homophobes, nitwits, fearmongers, racists, dingbats, venal voting machine companies, or the Gropenator of California.

This may seem like an unusual Lounge post, but the fighting and infighting has been spilling over into the Lounge since the election. What I want you to do is to bookmark this thread, and everytime you're tempted to attack a fellow DUer over some trifle, come back here instead and remember who the real enemies are. If you need to post again and again what shitboxes they are, then feel free to do so. I assure you that you won't run out of Republican shitboxes anytime soon.

Extra points for originality. Extra extra points for not using the b-word or the c-word. Demerits for using the word "whore" to describe the media; whores actually do their jobs.

I just want to add the following: George W Bush is an evil, traitorous, treasonous, lackwit war criminal dry-drunk arsonist in the building of state, a divider not a uniter and an extremely lousy cheerleader. Dick Cheney is a thieving, lying, chickenhawk coward. Karl Rove is a lowdown slandering swine, a genius of strategy in the same sense that any amoral lying sneakthief is. Don Rumsfeld is a lovely person assuming you like piles of vomit. And Condoleeza Rice is the least competent person ever to have an oil tanker named after her.

You?

3. These people are scary
because they are intolerant and hateful. I have looked into their eyes, and they appear to be madmen. I have a feeling my ancestor, Anne Foster, had a similar experience when she was put on trial as a witch in 1692 in Salem.

9. I just cannot believe
that people fell for the lies.
I have said, and still believe, that if you voted for that little puppet, you got oatmeal for brains.
Do I hate them?, nope.
I'm just disgusted that they dont see.
BTW I'm STILL pissed off.

Their power is, like insects, in their nonthinkingness.

It's no coincidence that some fundamentalists like to represent themselves as ants:

11. I can just cry. If they have any consideration for us all, they are
hiding it well, when not injecting some commandments telling us what to do (like giving). Most of us give. The only ones I don't see giving are the ones getting the tax cuts and other benefits. (with any difference being given to the middle and lower classes, what's that about a national sales tax I hear as well?)

I think they don't have any. Except for their own greed. It was greed that brought down cities in Biblical times. They seemed to have forgotten that. And Sodom & Gomorrah were obliterated because of their greed. It had very little (if anything) to do with homosexuality. It was selfishness, INHOSPITALITY, and greed.

as has been said by some republicans, America IS a failure. But while they want to restructure everything that appears to give the corporate conglomerates all the power, they don't care if the rest of us die. Something about that smells foul.

12. A newbie's two cents...
I'm so disgusted that so many *seemingly intelligent* people allowed themselves to be snowed, bamboozled, lied to, used, hypnotized, mesmerized, charlataned...

You'd think that a thinking person would comprehend the difference between the neocon agenda and a christian agenda. You'd think that a thinking person would be able to tell the difference between irrelevant smokescreen (like the swiftboat load of dung) and crucial issues (health care, job security, the environment, global diplomacy). You'd think that a thinking person would be able to understand that shrubbie's war record is scandalously, flamingly mismanaged and that the only thing we can do is cut our losses and rebuild from the mess we've made. You'd think that a thinking person would shrink from a man who thinks he's got a mandate from "god" instead of hopping into lockstep with the other zieg heilers. You'd think that a thinking person would be able to recognize that the *reality* of shrubbie's administration doesn't even come close to matching the facade they try to paint.

See...see where the problem is? One would *think*...

As furious and incensed as I am that this administration is doing the things they're doing, I am even more **baffled** by the people sucking up the vileness they're spewing like its ambrosia.

I do not get it. All I can do is hope that history is forgiving, justice is kind, and karma ain't the beeyatch she is wont to be.

14. I'm watching HBO right now, listening to these families read letters
from their loved ones who died in Iraq. This woman just read this letter from her husband, at one point he starts talking directly the unborn son he never had a chance to see.

The father actually knew he wasn't going to come home and wrote: "Although i was never around to see you, you were conceived in love and i went to this horrible place for love."

If I had to say what I really feel about Bush and the GOP I'd be arrested. So I'm not gonna say anyting.

George W Bush- an incompetent moron and ignorant by choice

Dick Cheyney- underhanded mfer, Dr Evil

Fundie Christians- ignorant fools

Most Repubs- cheerleading chickenhawks

Coming home rom visiting my sister, I thought of a great gift for my 25yr old Bush supporting niece: an application to join the Army. She supports the moron, she can go and serve him in Iraq.

21. Anyone who voted for bush
and is young enough to serve, better sign up to fight the nasty immoral war that they support.

They rubber-stamped it, therefore they better get busy fighting it. They NEED troops over there, after all.

16. If marauding DC rats fled the dumpsters...
..and infiltrated the White House and made a midnight snack of George W. Bush and/or Karl Rove, I would not be terribly distressed. Indeed, were Tom DeLay visiting at the same time, the entire experience would be utterly delightful!

But the rats would require Tums and/or a stomach pump afterwards, I'm afraid.

20. Blue stater here...
Most of the pugs I know tend to be rich yuppie types--nonreligious, not anti-abortion, not gun nuts, just selfish, greedy, little snots.

The problem is a lot of them can be real nice, pleasant, seemingly intelligent people. They can be likable, but then you find out their political views and you feel like you must go take a shower.

Icky.

As for Bush, his administration, and the fundies--pure evil :puke:

22. In all seriousness...
I believe those that run the Republican party are motivated by selfishness and greed alone and manipulate those in the religious right (and those who are inherently selfish and greedy as well) to get their agenda moving. I believe they are successful because they see things in black and white simplicity able to be condensed into sound bites that the average simpleton can easily swallow. I'm not for much for name-calling because the issue is too complex, but until the masses realize the truth, it's going to be a hard fight. I find it all rather sad and disturbing that this is what my country has evolved into.
