Berlin's gay mayor isn't queer enough for some
...
Meanwhile, it seems Berlin's gay mayor isn't queer enough for some politicians in the city. Two weeks ago, Klaus Wowereit drew headlines in the national tabloid, Bild, after he French kissed Desiree Nick, the winner of German reality TV show "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me out of Here." The paper asked: "Is Wowi still gay?" On Thursday, Wowereit's staged debauchery rose to the level of political scandal as members of the city's parliament debated his behavior and said the photos published in the tabloid were unbecoming of a mayor. But Wowereit isn't showing any regrets: Kissing is part of the mayor's job, he said, "and this mayor isn't going to allow himself to be banned from kissing." So if you want to kiss the mayor, line up while you still can.

"Goals do make horny! Here stands the proof". He is wearing a Hertha Berlin Jersey; as I don't have the Bild, I can't tell you any more.

On Edit: the player's name is Nando Rafael.

7. Desiree Nick won't trigger such a reaction

She got famous with a comedy show titled "Hanging tits - deluxe". Also, I have the feeling that the word "cured" would be considered inappropriate by most people here - and rightly so.

This, BTW, is the poster for her show - it was all over Berlin, i.e. in every bus stop, subway station etc. . The FCC's Powell would probably suffer a stroke after spending one night in the city.

5. Too bad politicians in the USA
don't get worked up about whether someone is "gay enough." Their chief concern is if someone is gay at all.
Well, maybe I should qualify that and say that they get their knickers in a twist if anyone knows that a player on their team is gay. Rove, Lindsay Graham and Ken Mehlman spring to mind, but there must be dozens in the House, Senate and leadership of the GOP.

(And then there's that crazy nutcase from Oklahoma who thinks girls can be made into lesbians by going into the bathroom at school, but he's in a category of his own.)
