You ever see the SCTV skit, set 20 years later? (pre-dated the network return, "Still the Beaver").

Beaver was an underachiever with some sort of part-time job. Ward Cleaver was a drunk who put whiskey on his cereal. Eddie Haskel was still a bastard who made fun of Beaver.

Ward staggers into the kitchen for breakfast and sees Beaver. "Beaver? Is that you? I thought you died in Vietnam."

Beaver: "Not me, Dad."

Ward eventually passes out face first into his cereal, and Eddie walks out of the kitchen with Beaver, humiliating Beaver with every step. A shot rings out, and Beaver has killed Eddie.

Great stuff.
