Just as soon as I posted the URL of my new LiveJournal blog here this morning, I started getting hateful comments to some of my posts there. It's not surprising, I suppose, but it is a little upsetting. Oddly enough, I've never gotten that sort of thing before. Oh, and I've changed my blog settings for added security.

It's okay for people to express their opinions, but when the talk gets personal, it's time to fix the situation.

If you have the capability, track each nasty's IP and send emails to their ISPs telling them what kind of customers they have--or have your webblog host ban those IPs from the assholes.

There are ways around all the shit--you just have to be proactive and find legal but effective methods.

Another thing you might consider--put them all on one page, and do what the admins here do: expose them all for all their stupidity and ignorance.
