I'm suffering from a disorder known as TMS
Anyone else have it? Too Much Shit.

I am about to get a garbage bag and clean house. Anything that is not a necessity, that does not contribute in some way to the functioning of this household, that I do not find exceedingly aesthetically appealing, is about to find its way into the garbage bag.

:-)

6. I did that once..
It worked great until I started feeling badgered by all their constant email reminders. I ended up setting them to spam.

Now I sit here happily buried under my mountain of un-filed paperwork. Ahhh, no stress. If only I could remember what pile last quarters tax info is in...

11. You know, you CAN do flylady
without the reminders. I set up my control journal, and only use it when I get off track. I am NOT religious about it, but at least my household is under control now, and I don't vomit in horror if someone drops by unexpectedly.

23. I didn't know about the control journal...
I'm going to check it out again. I too would like to not "vomit in horror" at the unexpected guest. I loved that mental image by the way, it is so fitting! :)

4. I am with you
I slid on a magazine today because I didn't want to toss it out because it was new. I had no other place to put it and I laid it next to my rocking chair and I pulled my back out.

You know when it's time to clean your place is when you slid on something that shouldn't be laying around on the floor.

I am thinking about paying someone $50.00 bucks to clean my apartment.

12. That's my new motto.
Unless it's a book or sports equipment. I tend to be obsessively organized, but those two categories still cause me problems.

13. you clean like I do. Except at work, I don't throw anything away.
papers pile up on my desk, then I put them in a box without ever going through them, and put them in the back of my store. Should I get a personal assistant?

16. so the only solution, is to never, ever throw anything out....or I guess
throw it all out like you're doing. Do you ever find yourself looking at something you haven't seen forever and realize that 15 minutes have gone by and you haven't moved?

21. no, just a filing system
(said the woman who tossed a grocery sack full of junk paper today)

One of the best things I ever did for myself was start banking on line!
I open the bill when it comes, pay it with a send date and toss the bill. I LOVE IT

22. I think I have been in a PTSS mode since the election
That combined with the following:
my mom died, my job went away, and my hubby is working in Wyoming

has made me just not interested in my house very much.

so I started doing just a little bit today, cleaned off my desk and threw away a bunch of junk paper. (where does it all come from?)

Christmas is coming so I want to have things in order before the decorations go up. That is my main incentive, that and the fact that I want to have my husband's family over while he is home from Wyoming sometime during the holidays.

Sounds like a sub support group may be in order here
