I was at 7-Eleven, and i saw this asshole kid park in handicapped. He jumped out of his car, and ran into the store. No sticker on his car.....nothing physically wrong with him!

I can't imagine the frustration handicapped people feel when they see this happpen.

1. yeah...frustrating...
I really hate that because I know people who should have them and don't! BUT then I HATE when every fricken parking spot is taken and there are 30 empty handicap spots!!! grrr...

There use to be this comedian who was in a wheel chair and my husband and I went to his show, he handed out air fresheners that looked like handicap signs and they said "I will only be a minute!" lol.

6. yeah the handicapped space thing is a bad idea
if there are fines for it, but some places can get crowded and there are no other places to park BUT a handicapped space, and if you park there your gonna get fined 250-500 cause there are no other spaces

2. i hate ppl who get those handicapped placards
who may qualify under some technicality but are fully physically capable of walking the extra 15 feet, theres one here, has an h-2, parks in handicapped spaces with a legit placcard because he doesent have a thumb *he parks in the van space too, so now cause of him someone who is in a wheelchair and nneeds the extra space to exit the van on a lift has to wait*

Non-Handicapped people only do that because they're lazy bastards who dint wanna walk, and who have no courtesy or respect.

4. Really, really bad karma...... They'll get theirs....
I remember worrying as I started to recover from ankle surgery and was just about ready to forego the crutches, that if I went ONE day more than I truly truly needed on my temporary handicapped sticker, the weight of karmic "revenge" would be on me! Well, I didn't take the chance, even if it meant all but hopping from the back of the shopping lot!

5. Tell me about it!
My daughter uses a wheelchair and I'm tempted to put a sign on the cars of able-bodied people who park in handicapped spaces, "If you're not handicapped when you park here, you will be when you come out!"

7. Not all handicaps are visually noticeable
so I don't let it bother me.

Some people don't have walking problems but have heart or lung problems. They may be able to walk into the store just fine but be short of breath before they make it back to their car.

I have an uncle who is handicapped. He sometimes forgets to hang his parking permit on his mirror. In fact he has been ticketed a few times because he forgot to use it. He did get out of the ticket when he proved he was entitled to park there.

8. Depending on the laws of his state

and the permanence of his condition, he could look into getting plates instead of a placard.

13. We have the plates here in Oklahoma
however he doesn't drive because he is partially blind in addition to being an amputee.

He carries the placard with him to use in whatever vehicle he is riding in.

9. There's a special place in hell for people who do that.
My daughter is in a wheelchair. We encounter this problem fairly often. Even some of the people with handicapped tags seem to get around just fine. And they not only take the handicapped spaces, they take the van/ramp accessible spaces. You'd think they could walk the extra 30 feet but apparently not.

10. I do too!
I also hate when people wear a flight suit and fly(or pretend to) when they are on "non-flight" status due to missing a physical.

I suppose when people try to reap benefits that someone elsw sowed, it ticks me off.

11. Just today...
Rich bitch blond in a brand new Suburban. Wanted to jerk a knot in her tail (devils have tails, right?). I just gave her the evil eye and some disgusted and exagerated head nodding. Hey, I was in a hurry. Couldn't take the time to berate her.
