Jackson Attacks "Racist" Eminem at Rally
Michael Jackson has hinted that his new chart rival, Eminem, is a racist by calling American newsman Geraldo Rivera during a protest about the rapper's new video. Jackson is upset with Eminem because the irreverent rapper pokes fun at the pop superstar in his "Just Lose It" video - dancing on a bed with young boys, losing his fake nose on a dance floor and setting his hair alight. And during a live Fox News broadcast on Thursday night from a demonstration by Jackson's fans outside MTV's headquarters in New York, the King of Pop called Rivera direct to comment on the video further and blast MTV bosses for continuing to air it. He raged, "I think that it's demeaning and disrespectful but I also want to make it clear it's not just about Michael Jackson but a pattern of disrespect that he (Eminem) has shown to our community. He needs to stop it and he needs to stop it now." Rivera later stated he agreed with Jackson and blasted MTV bosses, claiming, "It's an attack on people who allow lazy racism to get on the air." Meanwhile, Eminem shows no sign of apologizing for the video and even plans to turn up at the MTV European Music Awards dressed as Jackson. Promoting his new album Encore on Friday, he said, "I've struck some kind of chord with him and I'm not sure exactly what it was that I struck in him that I didn't strike in Madonna or MC Hammer or Pee Wee Herman or myself, all of which I made fun of and spoofed (in the video). I like Michael Jackson, I like him a lot. I'm just happy that Michael Jackson has heard of me."

Apparently Michael Jackson doesn't think there's enough spot-light on him, and he makes a huge mistake by criticizing something, thus attracting even more attention to it.

Personally, I think the video is funny.

By the way, bought Eminem's new album, some of his best work on it.

... this is the main problem I have with Michael Jackson....

Okay, the dude completely mangles his face and turns himself ghostly white (whether intentional or not).. then builds a fantasy amusement park and refuseses to grow up and thinks he's Peter Pan. He sleeps in bed with little boys at the age of over 40, and dangles a small infant over a balcony...

.... and after all that he comes out all the time and says "I am not a freak!.. why do people treat me like a freak?!"

Well, DUH!! You are 40 years old and you sleep in bed with little boys and brag about it on TV..

You know what your problem is, M.J.? You must be surrounded by "Yes" people.. nobody in your inner circle wants to tell you "Whoah!..slow down pal!!...you can't be doing this stuff"... but that's exactly what you need.

4. Interesting.
I kind of think Jackson is trying to stay in the spotlight. I didn't know that talking about a person's plastic surgery was racist. Besides Jackson hasn't been black for 15 years at least.

5. Funny you mention that...
.... I though of that even the last time when Jackson came out of left field with that "music industry is racist!!!" comment.

Dude.."you are NOT black!"

6. So is this Jackson or Rivera calling eminem racist?
Jackson said "our community" does he mean the black community, or the music community? Cause while Jackson and MC Hammer are black, Pee Wee Herman and Madonna are not...

Nor defending Jackson, cause the guy has some serious problems (although being so big in the pop music industry for such a long time would give almost anybody some problems (maybe not quite as many as Jacko though))... but it does seem to be Rivera trying to stir the controversy by incorporating racism...

Or am I reading it wrong?
