I just bought Arrested Development on DVD
The entire first season. Actually my husband bought it. We'd seen an episode or two and thought it was really funny, so on a whim he bought the whole season and we've been watching the episodes in order. Can I just say that it's the funniest fucking show I've seen in a looooooooooooooooong time?! Seriously, I thought I injured myself laughing tonight. Everyone is so good in it. I've always loved David Cross and his character, Tobias, almost made me wet my pants. And Jason Bateman is the perfect straight man. It doesn't hurt, either, that he's a dead ringer for Neil Finn, my favorite musician of all time and Numero Uno on my Laminated List.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that. Anyone else a fan of the show?

1. Yes
it's a great show... tonight's episode was hilarious: I loved the blue dot's over Jeffrey Tambor's erections. Hysterical.

2. I adore that show.
I have the DVDs, myself. How funny is a show when David Cross isn't even the funniest thing about it? Pure genius. I can't believe it's even on TV.

3. Big time.
I realized tonight that A.D reminds me quite a bit of a more hip and updated version of Soap.

It has that same feel of intertwining plots that grow ever more ludicrous that Soap had, minus the cheesy faux daytime drama setting.

The cast is amazing.

Yet another sparkling entry on Jeffery Tambor's resume.
