5. I can't believe people eat that crap
and I can't believe they feed it to their children. Says she whose only child is minus six months old. :)

I always get very sad when I hear people say that homecooked food "doesn't taste right" or "isn't salty enough." They're so hooked on that crap. Congrats, by the way! :-)

I stopped eating McFood a long time ago, but I'm still too chicken to read Fast Food Nation (no pun intended). I don't want to think about what I used to eat. However, a nice veggie burger from BK. . .delicious! ;)

Altho', you may change your mind WRT McDonald's once the kid is about 2. Playlands make nice rest-stops on long vacations. Just BYO food. ;)

I think I'm going to probably turn out to be a germophobe, though, and those Playlands have got to be crawling with all kinds of nasty stuff.

I used to crawl through those things! And if that's not nasty enough... I had to clean those things out. Let's just say, do you know how many band-aids a young child has on at any given time?

18. Does it come with a defibrulator?
Since most McDonalds 'meal deals' contain more than half of the daily caloric needs of the average adult, eating at McDonalds could likely lead to heart disease.
