I found the perfect xmas cards!
Edited on Sun Nov-14-04 08:31 PM by supernova
Yes, I know it's early. :P

I found them at one of those upscale stores at the mall.

The outside is a typical nativity scene in the background.

Mary is saying: "Isn't he the most perfect, most beautiful baby in the whole world?"

In the foreground: Nebbishy woman whispering to her friend:

"The way she goes on about that new baby, you'd think he was God!"

3. I can't wait to send them!
I'm trying to decide the humorful from the humorless on my list.

4. Oh what the hell...
send them to everyone. Maybe when they open them, in private, they will let out a big old laugh. I would buy those cards, if I saw them someplace!

7. Well, I do know a couple of people
who have no sense of humor. While I have a deep faith in God, I'm not interested in a God with no sense of humor. But some people don't.

10. Right with you on that one...
I will never understand people who truly believe that Jesus/God was a homophobic, racist, sexist jerk with no sense of humanity or humor. Go figure

Your cards were probably not cheap, so I guess you might as well use them on those who will appreciate them! They do sound priceless though. Mind if I ask where you found them?

11. The store is Metropolitan Deluxe
The have all kinds of overpriced, funky furniture. They have some cabinets that I quite like. In general, stuff that would look good if you had a loft in SoHo.

But the cards are the funniest thing in there.

2. Love that.
We are thinking about making cards this year, Do a beautiful winter scene on front with caption, It's a New Year, on the inside, WE ARE DOOMED.

Too much?

reading the "bible" to his kids

"God gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him could become a Republican homophobic Jesus freak"
