2. I hung out with a 17 year old all night...
and I didn't even know it (my crazy new goth friends). I laughed at her when she said she had a curfew, then she told me that she just turned 17, I felt old!

you young whipper-snappers. Back when I was your age, you couldn't even take a picture with your cell phone, and polyphonic ring tones...forget about it!

7. Ever seen an 8-track? In a car?
My mom had one in her Bonneville when I was a kid. This was when records were still widely used, cassette tapes were just hitting the scene, and CDs were either not invented yet, or bleeding-edge.

The seat of my father's truck... was vinyl. Ow. And never mind what happened to your legs if you wore shorts....

9. What a bunch of pups...
I just got back from my 40th Brithday party tonight. Had a great time. Some friends made a home made batch of Birthday Beer. Ain't that sweet.

As for the kids. You guys obviously have some wits if you hang out on DU.

Keep fighting the good fight. Cuz you'll be old one day too.

Cheers,
