At what point do you have to wear gloves?

Temperature-wise? When does it get so cold out that you have to wear gloves or risk frostbite or blood circulation problems?

I love the cold - however, I ride my scooter year round, and even in the 40's gloves would be nice while I'm riding.

2. It depends on what I'm doing. Biking in cool weather requires gloves .

If you are biking in rain that also effects how cold it feels. When walking gloves are not needed as much as when biking. But when driving a car even in freezing weather gloves are kept in reserve in case a tire needs changing or the car needs pushing.

It will vary, even by temperature. I get cold hands if it's windy, so if there's no wind it can be colder.

4. when I'm skiiing

really it depends how long I'm outside or what I'm doing. gloves are good for snowballs and sledding and stuff.

I pity the fools that hate winter but still live up north. :P

5. That's a problem with me.

I don't put on gloves until it's frigid outside which dries out the skin. Working in a hospital I constantly wash my hands so chapped skin is a problem in the winter. I need a good hand cream to be sure. And gloves too.

I am so smart because this little jar of cream sits on this desk at all times. My jar is "Goats and Oats" which smells like really rich cookies.

My daughter has "Rain" scent.

This stuff is the BOMB.

There are places on the net that sell it by mail, but the company which makes it apparantly does not have a website yet. I found it for about $9 a jar somewhere, but the shop in Cody WY sold it for $11. Still a bargain, this stuff will last for months.

Otherwise I stick my hands in my coat pockets. I don't like wearing gloves, and I have to take them off to drive anyway.

13. I wear gloves when I garden, even if it is 100degrees

but I resist like hell wearing them until I absolutely must for any other reason. I also resist like hell wearing a coat

I just hate all that extra stuff

Living in Texas is nice for that at least. We have about 3 days of winter here.
