2. Alien
They weren't only isolated and screwed (like The Thing crew) but the Alien crew got specifically sold out by their employer.

5. Classic movie design
Someone's gotta tell the tale.

I thought Kurt Russell survived, anyway, I'm sticking with Alien.

7. I don't know. I thought the Norwegians were trying to kill the dog...
while warning the Americans of the danger at the same time.

8. Maybe. But they intentionally refused to speak in English, because they
hate America, and thus the world. They WANTED the Americans to suffer form the Thing monster!

Typical Norwegian, as far as I am concerned.

11. What about the acid for blood thing?
That's at least as bad as snow, at least in my book!

12. Yeah, but I don't think the Alien was interested in stopping to write its
name, if ya catch my drift ;-)

15. The Thing crew had it much worse
For the most part, the crew in Alien could count on each other, with the exception of Ash the robot. But the guys in The Thing never knew who was human. Their paranoia went far beyond the fear of simply dying.

16. I was thinking of that, too
At least on the Alien ship no one turned into an alien - you always knew who you were dealing with.
