Why won't my ports open?!?!
..I'm sure that title will be copycatted way too easily, but nonetheless.

I can't figure it out. I do everything exactly as I should, and it hasn't worked either on this router or the last. I took pictures to prove my point.

My local ip is 192.168.1.11.

I tell the router to forward port 6881 to .11

It doesn't.

anyone???

1. Why won't my pants open?
You're right about the copycat thread thing. I decided to confine mine to this thread.

4. No, no other firewalls.
Forgot to mention that. Unless the DSL modem (Cisco 678) itself is blocking things, in which case how do i stop it from doing that? I've disabled the security deal in SP2 entirely, so that isn't it. Not to mention this has been a problem for longer than that.

6. Unlikely.
I've never heard of a DSL or cable modem that blocked incoming TCP. Some ISPs will block incoming port 80 (because they want you to pay them for webspace instead of serving it out yourself), but I've never heard of one that blocked any ports above 1024.
