Car stolen during crack break
A 44-year-old Athens man reported that his girlfriend's 1995 Dodge Neon valued at $4,000 was stolen Tuesday night after he parked it in the Rocksprings Homes apartment complex in order to smoke crack, Athens-Clarke police said.

The man said he left the car unattended for about 30 minutes, and that he suspected it had been taken by a man named "Roy" who had sold him the crack that he smoked behind a Rocksprings Homes recreation building, according to police.

The car had displayed Georgia tag AIV 3456, police said.
