I just got Firefox!
It was quite a leap of faith for me. Been using IE for almost 10 years.
So far I think I like it. It sure loads sites faster. I uninstalled the two popup stopper programs I was using and nothing's popped up yet.
Haven't figured out the 'tabs' thing yet, but it'll come I guess.
Thanks for all the encouragement here in another thread.

2. One word of warning....you have to use IE for Windows Update.
Beyond that, I NEVER EVER EVER OPEN IE.

3. I feel left out.
I've already been using Firefox for a year. Before that, I used Mozilla. Before that, I used (gag) Netscape 4.7.

5. I'm using the SBC/Yahoo browser for DSL
Which I think is based on the Mozilla/Firefox engine. It's fantastic. I'll never go back to IE again.

6. To use the TAB feature, just press CTRL while you click a link...
and it will open the site in a new tab instead of bringing up another browser window.

7. First FF problem.
Went to a page that needed a plug in. The search wizard looked and looked, long time, finally found Micromedia flash. Auto install failed. Now what?

10. Website has been having trouble
With all the publicity surrounding the new release, the Firefox website has been a little slow or giving rejections when getting updates for things like Flash.

You may have to try a couple of times, or go directly to Macromedia.

11. Once you're used to tab browsing
You will not be able to go back. I didn't know if I'd like it at first, either. But it's the only kind I'll use now.
