20. Is it true the work load is pretty intense?

...I have heard that from several different people that the work load, especially the first two years doesn't allow for much downtime. As a mom, I have no problem with that!!!! :-)

but it sure does pay off.
I can give you a great perspective. My best friends growing up were identical twins. Graduated as valedictorian and salutatorian in HS. One went to W&M, the other UVA. The one at W&M worked his ass of and ended the year with a 3.21. The one at UVA bragged that he smoked up everyday and had a 3.96.
Needless to say, the one at W&M transferred to UVA... he ended with a 3.7 while doing half the work.
