Why all the Ann Coulter threads?

I read a quote of hers in Time magazine the other day. She said she says the things she says just to GET liberals to bitch about her because "everytime a liberal opens their mouth, another decent American becomes a republican."

Pretty obvious to me her entire MO is simply to stir the shit. I never paid much attention to her to begin with, but that sealed the deal for me.

regarding some DUers who like to make nasty, sexist remarks about Ann and Condi Rice. They disparage them as women in a way they never would about male conservatives. It's ridiculous.

If you did, you would realize that she's just as big a target, or even bigger. Start with her explanation of why she's a republican. It's because her father was a republican. Why is her father a republican? Because he tried to register Democrat, and the Dem party in 1950s Alabama wouldn't let him. Go from there. Learn to hate her disengenious revisionist history-spouting ass as much as I do.

Plus, Ann Coulter is just a vitrolic bitch. Sort of how Rush Limbaugh is a hateful gas-filled windbag, and Sean Hannity is just a blight upon the media world. There's plenty of mean things to say about conservative men. Seriously, don't get me started.

I was trying to make a point about how sexual orientation didn't matter in her case, because she's a mean-spirited self-important thug. All the threads were atlking about if she married a man or a woman, but face it-if she married a rock the rock would run away. As far as sexism goes, she's far more sexist than most members of DU, IMO.

We can spend all the time in the world not paying attention to her. Freepers still do, and the more they pay attention to her the more shrill and hateful she gets.
I personally think we should oppose her, Malkin, Hannity, Limbaugh, etc. They have been a significant factor in turning this country towards evil. We can't simply ignore it. Look at what's happened so far.
