I made a boo-boo yesterday :)

I'm spending my extra energy decluttering, and posting some of the stuff I want to give away on FreeCycle (www.freecycle.org). You actually end up posting in "Yahoo Groups" under the freecycle group in your city

I had some books I thought someone might want.

Somehow I hit some wrong buttons on the keyboard. :)

All of a sudden I got an email back from moveon.org, an automatic response, saying they will read and respond later. At the bottom of the email was my 2 books to donate, one of them being

"Divorce for Dummies"

Someone at moveon.org is going to really wonder why I'd like to give them Divorce for Dummies. What kind of statement am I trying to make?

I have no idea how this happened :)

I've heard about this site and went there this morning.
I couldn't find how to "get going"
Do you have to join and how??
I found my local chapter in the site but when I clicked to join my Email program came up... What's the score??

4. if you go to freecycle.org website

when the email comes up, just say "subscribe" in the subject and body. Or you can take the email address they give you and paste it into another email program you have, like yahoo. That's what I did.

I joined this too long ago to remember. BUt I think they send you an email.

OR you can go to http://groups.yahoo.com/ and search for the freecycle near you. I think most require you to join, and you might not be able to read the messages unless you do. You can also join from this location.
