3. This is how I feel about my family - they're freepers

Mom, Dad and brother - I just can't believe I am stuck with a family that contributed to the re-appointment of Bush.

Luckily, we live in LA and they live in Montana so we don't see them often. IN fact, we have curtailed our trips home since the Iraq invasion began. I just can't stand the arguments. They're never going to change my mind, and I'm never going to change theirs. Their belief system is based on Jesus and they think I need "saving." Yet my brother calls the Iraqis (basically all of the Middle East) as "third world neanderthals" as if their lives are worth less than his - yet he's a "Christian." It makes me sick to think how brainwashed and misled they are.

I just forced myself to call my mom today - after putting it off for over a week. Once the election was over (well...it's not over yet) I just couldn't bear to have her bait me.
