Funny thing is, it's damn good. Have no idea why the H decided to do this. Probably just for fun (seems like something Scott would do)

On edit: I've never heard the original version, lol

1. Travis did "Hit Me Baby One More Time"
...as a slow acoustic number with great harmonies, and it's one of my favorite songs of theirs. It was from an MTV Unplugged thing and was a semi-hit a few years back.

More like 10 years ago, there was a great cover of Debbie Gibson's "Shake My Love" done as a Leonard Cohen-style piano dirge by Scott McCaughey of Young Fresh Fellows. Brilliant... wish I could actually find that. Someone taped it for me years ago and did a half-assed job, but I have no clue where to find it.

4. I got that off Napster back in the day. You can hear the audience laugh
when they realized what song it was.

5. Thats on the bootleg LP
Sometimes called, uh, The Bootleg Lp, other times (on CD, I think), its called, "Wonderfully Simple... ...Simply Wonderfull", which is etched into the various sides of the LP vinyl. One of my favorite YFF LPs.

My favrite song on the LP is I Want To Die In A Woman's Prison

3. I once did this acoustic version of "I'm a slave 4 u"
really dismal, bluesy stuff. Barring my singing voice, it actually sounded GOOD. Taped it to 4-tk. If I find it I will convert it to mp3 and upload it and completely forget it existed
