Things I saw today in New York City

I saw a little boy riding a big wheel on Broadway

I saw a bunch of birds taking a bath in a big puddle like it was a grand bird bath

I saw a new Starbucks opening up across the street from my office.

I saw cars being pulled over randomly by cops on Houston Street. Not sure what that was about.

And I just saw fireworks display over the Hudson River. It says on my calendar that tomorrow is Independence Day (Mexico) Otherwise, I don't know what they were for, but they were pretty.

there was supposed to be a fireworks display in central park tonite

2. 150th anniversary of Central Park's opening

and the park looks better than I have ever seen it, they have done a fabulous job of fixing it up, even up in Harlem, for once.
