What a movie experience...

I saw Meet Me in St. Louis last night in film studies class... Even though the opening song is about one of the worst fucking earworms out there, and I'm usually not much for movie musicals, I actually came out of it feeling much better, and I felt a little more emotionally refereshed. I wonder why that happened?
