How the theft of the presidency was orchestrated
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 06:33 PM by linazelle
It wasn't just Diebold. There was a network of activities. We all know about the fake registrations. There was intimidation. There were missing votes before the election. There was media complicity. Has anybody EVER seen election returns called the way they were called last night: all for one candidate at one time, few for the challenger until later? Why were Kerry's wins held up for hours?

Bush raised wayyyy more money than Kerry--even though the media in their endless comparisons made it seem like both had raised the same amounts. * came from vacation last year and never stopped hitting the campaign trails. Where did all of that money go? He didn't need it for the media. They are already in his pocket. He didn't buy very many commercials--no more than Kerry. I'm in a swing state where you'd think they'd show * commercials nonstop.

I think they spent money on strategic media messaging (ie media blasts, talking points) and placing people in strategic locales to get the fix in. I think they had paid operatives--in Kerry's camp; at election polls and God knows where else--even here asking for input they used for their own gain. It was perfectly orchestrated and again they pulled off a theft so grand it was unimagined. Of course I don't have a shred of proof but I can put two and two together.

How else could they virtually retire Powell, Rice and Rumsfeld who you'd think would have been out there stomping for them and keep such a low-key, don't-worry-be-happy, no-apologies approach? In hindsight it could only come with the knowledge that they had the win in the bag before the race even started.

1. They had one hell of a quiet but huge machine at work in Fla
and Ohio, that apparently nobody knew about. There is enough there for at least a long magazine article.

3. There had to be people in states other than just FL and OH
It's no coincidence that Kerry's states were almost all held up simultaneously.

4. Religion...Religion...Religion...
Churches bought the idea and spread the idea that bush is God. That is why bush didn't have to admit any of his mistakes, he is perfect like god, jesus, etc. It was easy to brainwash the believers, than put fear in them. These believers live on fear, period. A little more fear and lies from the republicans was an easy job.

Even in my Catholic church, fliers were placed on cars in the parking lot, every Sunday, 3 times for each mass, stating biblical quotes the same as the kkkristians warning about the wrath of electing officials who are against God. Some fliers even stated that the Muslims were rejects from the kingdom of heaven.

Many churches went as far as to say in the fliers that Kerry and Edwards would vanish the bible.

5. It's only a matter of time before this is revealed
Trouble is -- no one seems to care. I can't bear to watch these monsters, but I expect ot hear over and over how LUCKY we are to live in a country where such "peaceful transitions of power" are possible. HOGSHIT! It was "peaceful" because we were outgunned, again, and once again, our "leaders" are not fighting for us.

50% of Americans have overthrown democracy and embraced authoritarianism and fascism. The Constitution is toilet paper to these people -- it is an empty symbol now, that they will just use to beat us over the head with.

The details, which you have laid out generally, will eventually come to light. Sooner? Later? I don't know -- all bets are off.

EVENTUALLY the history of our time will be written. Eventually these facts will be understood. Some people will read it and shake their heads with horror, reading how we threw away our freedom with both hands. Other people, the ones who don't like to read, will simply wonder what in the world possessed an entire nation to embrace evil monsters which led them to disaster and destruction.

What happened to the "Never Again!" crowd? You never even hear those words anymore.

6. I misunderestimated them
I thought that all the bravado about 10,000 lawyers and BBV knowledge would fend off their antics. I'm too logical and trusting I guess. I actually believed them. It's like lightning struck in the same place twice, literally--damages and all.

I am vacillating between anger and apathy. Moving more toward anger now because we thought hope was on the way. There is no hope now. We will have to put up with more censorship, more feigned morality from thieves and more economic blight and there's nothing hopeful about that. Who in God's name votes for this?
