I went to work today, but came back home after an hour

I can't think. I don't know exactly what I'm feeling.

Therefore, I'm going back to bed. The healing has to start somewhere. somehow.

have to have stories about *. This will hurt as I'm a news addict.
I think I will take a break from DU as well. I put my heart and soul
into this election... as well as too much money. I really like it
here, but I can't stand reading things today.

Honestly, I'm not sure that we will ever unite behind someone as
much as we did Kerry... and I don't know who the Dems will run
next time (but I doubt it will be anyone who participated this
time). Hillary does not excite me... I don't know why. But that's
a long ways off now. Because of the way the states are divided,
I don't think we will ever see a Democratic Senate... and even
the House will be hard.

I think we are all feeling what you are today. I wish I had
words of hope or wisdom... but words fail me right now.

This is my first post. I feel like someone has died--our future has been taken away and we have * and company for another four years or until they're impeached.

I can't deal with any media. I want to know why those of us in blue states aren't pushing to split the nation. We'll keep our taxes, cultural institutions, universities, research, industry, etc. and stop being the donors supporting the zero percent income tax Southern states with all their bigotry, racism and homophobia.

That was the final shut-off for CNN. I was down to listening to half of Crossfire, to catch what Paul and James had to say, but no more. I'm not sure if I can listen to Washington Journal for awhile.

Right now I'm glad DishTV picked up Sirius. I'm listening to the vault (6016) and gathering myself up with the music of my younger days.
