2. even then
I'm sure he'd come up with some excuse for it and they'd still be good little sheep and follow him until he destroys them all.

IQ should be required to vote.

5. Are you kidding?
Bush's supporters would welcome the mushroom clouds and black air because these would show the apocalypse was here. These people are insane.

6. The "kids" being taken away to WAR
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 11:54 AM by Bushneedstogo
Being hauled off to war no matter what their economical background is.

Bringing back the draft for everyone and not just the poor. It has to be fair this time so they need to take both male and females.

7. It can't be stopped
The worse it gets, the more they'll follow him. They NEED the enemy to keep control and would welcome an event to make 9/11 look like a weekend in Vegas.

9. Without a secure voting system
it doesn't matter how awake people become. We now enter the era of the "disappeareds" in America. First the votes and then the voters. Dissent will not be tolerated.

13. The Bush economy will not fly.
After we crash, the survivors will not be happy.

Our brave little pilot Bush will be pulled from the wreckage and thrown to the sharks.

14. A "friend" of mine voted for * yesterday ...
She told me why last night ... she said that she heard that Kerry opposed the war in Iraq and that she didn't think that we should pull out of it yet. WTF!! I told her that no matter WHO was president we were not going to pull out of Iraq!! We couldn't at this point! Shrub made a shit out of it and now we have to do something to help fix it! Kerry NEVER said he would pull troops out and leave it there, but she thought he was going to.

Another thing was the draft. She said that shrub SAID he wasn't going to start a draft (and she believed him!!). I said that the common consensus was that a draft would have to begin because we have to get troops from somewhere and shrub has PISSED OFF everyone else in the world! Who is going to work with us with BUSH in charge??? I told her that people were talking about the draft because right now we don't have enough troops and we've called out the national guard and reserves (STILL not enough). Where, I asked, do you think those extra people are going to come from????? GOD!!!!! I wanted to just hang up on her!!!!

Good thing she lives in California and it went to Kerry anyways. If she lived in a swing state I would have just hung up on her and called her back 4 years from now. I just don't understand it! Her family is suffering from the economy right now and it came down to those issues which she had FALSE information on???!!!

24. Wrong
Democrats controlled the house back then, and the supreme court wasn't a pack of foaming mouth conservatives.
The inly silver lining I can see in this is eventually * will fuck things up so bad the pendulum will swing back over to the left.

18. Time to move.....
but not away from the United States. Instead we move to the cities within the states that suppport our beliefs. Head to the Northeast or the Northwest. Come together. Raise our voices loud. Spread ideas. Be a guiding beacon of light to other like-minded progressives across the country. If we want change four years from now we have to come together in large numbers in centralized locations. It is hard to get support for a progressive message in many states today. Especially the southeast. By coming together in the more progressive areas of the nation it will be easier to begin movements and produce leaders. We must produce leaders. We need more Barak Obama's. The hour is growing late. The Revoultion has already begun and right now the far-right is winning.

Wake Up America!

19. Remember Nazi Germany??
Nobody gave a damn about the Jews being taken away until they came for them. That's when people will wake up - not before. Remember MOST people are morons.

22. "Mandatory Sunday School"
A phrase that will only bring them cheer.

If Jim Demint(ed) and company get their way, gays will be kicked out of jobs for no other reason than sexual preference, so the entire nation will essentially adopt "Do Ask, Don't Tell" as a hiring guideline.

23. Makes you wonder
I would have thought it was bad enough now but evidently I was wrong. I'm beginning to think we are in the midst of a third Great Awakening, the religious revival furors that swept through the country back in the 19th century. Of course, then it was very much a grassroots thing and there was no mass media to pervert and take advantage of it as there is now. There was also not the money involved which now translates into financial support for loony candidates, many of whom we saw win yesterday.

Our country is falling into the realm of religious totalitarianism and it's only going to get worse before it gets better. Like all these movements, I have faith that it will implode but who knows when? And who knows how much damage will have been done in that time?

I am depressed.
