Silly example, which really amounts to nothing but still: I made a bet with a Canadian guy over the outcome of a future sports event.

I'm e-mailing him shortly that the bet (US$ 100) has just been converted to Euros or CAN$, his choice. And he better not mail me US$ if I win.

More seriously, I foresee general goodwill towards USA economic interests dwindling considerably.
