My husband gifted me the surgery about five years ago. One eye for Christmas, one for my birthday (Dec 30). He loved not shopping.
I LOVE the vision. No glasses to lose or scratch or steam up or... you get the drift. I can SEE when I'm bodysurfing (altho later we moved to landlocked Vt and I can't seem to swim in lakes, but that's a whole 'nother story). No expensive rx sunglasses to scratch, lose, or drive over (oh, another story).

Anyway... YOU WILL LOVE IT!
