Oh fuck me
This is such a let down. It's not over yet, but I imagined that I'd wake up to a clear Kerry advantage in the popular vote, and about 300+ EV's. I EXPECTED to wake up to president-elect John Forbes Kerry. This is so fucked up.

5. my first election
was a catastrophic disappointment. I'm glad we got PA, but Hoeffel lost and we lost House and Senate seats across the board. The Democrats need to make some serious changes...including addressing the issues that matter to rural voters and social conservatives (at the state/local level) and so on.

7. I'm so depressed I can't stand it.
Where do we stand if this is what America truly chooses to be? How can the nation, even the world, ever survive four more years of this lunacy without breaking things that can't ever be fixed?

Howard Stern said this morning he feels as if the gates of Hell have been opened up. Right there with him.
