I know what you mean. We pick ourselves up and move forward. In a worse case scenario, this was still good. I mean, like, look back at the Vietnam Days. Man, no internet, we had the Berkley Barb, and love-ins. This has been a grand movement, million and millions voted for Kerry, there were fantastic communication networks, young people voted, straight people voted, working people voted, for Kerry. No way did something like this happen during the first two or three years into Vietnam, it took us almost a decade !!!!
Christ, at least we know where we stand, we know the truth and we made a stand. That is so important. Sometimes I think maybe all of us are a little to used to getting things too easy. Kerry's ideals were revolutionary in a sense, and intellectual revolutions are a difficult task, twists and turns all along the way. But always remember this, that when an ideal is sprung, when the seed of an ideal is planted, it never goes away, you can't get rid of it. Maybe the seed is thrown out into a cracked parched earth, but eventually the rains come, and it sprouts.
Hang in there.
