2. My 17 year old said the same thing last night
She's very frustrated with not being able to vote, but I reminded her--and I think the same statement applies to you-- you did a lot of work on this election, probably more than some people who just cast a vote.

8. I was 17 and 8 months when I missed
Carter / Reagan election in 1979. I was Sooooo Bummed!

Dad, a staunch Republican, voted Carter over fears of a war under Reagan.

Love your icon! ALways a treat to see JC grinnin back at me in the morning.

Salud.

12. I was 17 in 1996. Five months away from being 18.

I would have voted for Clinton, and he got elected anyhow, so it wasn't so bad. I was a senior in high school at the time. There were just a few of my classmates that were old enough to vote.

My son will be one of those lucky kids who will turn 18 right before a presidential election. That won't be until 2020, though (assuming we have the same election rules we do now).

11. I'll handle this one...
You should be ashamed of yourself, sir. I guess you're attempting to be funny here, but as a member of a family myself, I find no humor in the idea of murdering your relatives, even if it is a "joke". Hrumph!

thought i'd save the PC police some time.
