Many parts are laugh out loud funny and other parts, like the description of the how the republicans spun the Paul Wellstone memorial gathering, will make your blood boil. I am almost done with Franken, then it is on to Krugman, and then to Conason.

3. Yes, an excellent book

Franken's sense of humor makes reading about this outrageous stuff tolerable. Of course, even Franken found nothing funny about the events surrounding Paul Wellstone last November. That chapter was truly depressing.

The only part of the book I didn't like was the chapter on "Operation Chickenhawk". I read the first few pages of it and it just seemed childish, so I skipped ahead.
