My trip to Red County country (good news)
My parents are looking to re-locate a few counties away, out in the middle of nowhere, deep in what is typically repug country. I went with them to house hunt. I saw more Kerry signs than Bush signs. I even saw more than in my county, which is typically blue (Memphis, Shelby Co.). I also had my Kerry bumper sticker on. No negative reaction whatsoever. Not a single dirty look. A few people even smiled at me.

I'm feeling really good about this election. Tennessee may still go red, but it will be less red with every election cycle. Even if the absolute worst happens, a Bush win, then it will be their last hurrah. We're winning, no matter who wins this election. I don't think that will happen though; I really think Kerry has it.

1. Maybe it's like Reich said...
and we're now in the process of winning that battle.

Glad to hear things are looking good over there. :hi:
