Its the rerun of the first episode. Its the craziest thing I've seen on TV in a while...well..animated craziness.
Oct 24, 2004 — If you're sick of the cartoonish behavior of people on reality shows such as "Wife Swap" and "The Bachelor," here's a new series that makes the most of its cartoonish participants. "Drawn Together" is billed as television's first animated reality series, and the reality is: it's really funny.
Airing on Comedy Central, "Drawn Together" gathers eight archetypal cartoon figures under one roof, where their respective cartoon universes collide, along with their clashing styles of animation and at-odds personalities.
Among the spied-upon housemates are Captain Hero, a randy do-gooder; Clara, a lovely but bigoted fairy-tale princess; Toot Braunstein, an aging black-and-white throwback to the 1920s and Betty Boop; and Ling-Ling, an anime-type trading-card monster with a suspicious resemblance to Pikachu.
"Drawn Together" is a riotous, often delightfully raunchy send-up of both reality TV (including music and pacing) and the wide world of cartoons. It premieres 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
