Did anyone hear Ira Glass's "This American Life" on NPR today?

I only caught the intro and apparently there was a segment about a fellow who disrupts or hinders voter registration. I am wondering if it was worth d/l'ing it from the NPR website. That rpocess will take most of the night on dial-up on this old dinosaur of a laptop.

Just curious, I always enjoy Ira's show and i missed it cause i had to get back to work.

He had a long report on his months-long tracking of the decision-making process of an intelligent undecided voter. Having met such folks myself, it is interesting how they get hung up on the same issues -- which can be said to be a success story for Karl Rove, as much of what they believe is simply not factual.

There was also a long segment on voter fraud, especially that conducted by Spoull. Their dirty tactics are meaning tens of thousands of voters per state! As someone who was defrauded by an online "nonpartisan voter registration organization" back in 2000 in FL which simply discarded my change of address, I have first hand experience with these nazi sons of bitches. I am glad I advised everyone I knew registering, etc, to take extreme precautions, and to be prepared for tricks, and to resist attempts by those who might contest their voting rights, etc.

Well worth the long download. In fact, I may do the same, as I would like to have this for my "time capsule" of this crazy election.

5. It was fabulous!

Glass had this nut on that he was in a long running conversation with over whether he should go with Bush or Kerry...really funny...and then there was a whole segment on what the rethugs are doing to intimidate people. Worth the listen!
